Fest details: Sastra University proudly presents Daksh
\'15, the International Techno management festival for the year 2015. Every
year Daksh comes up with a variety of exciting and challenging events under
various clusters based on a theme. The theme for Daksh\'15 is Ancient Wisdom
And Modern Technology where age old techniques dovetail emerging ones. There
will be around 30,000 aspiring budding engineers from national and
international level.
Daksh provides a
stage for exhibiting your engineering and marketing talents. This year Daksh is
back with a total of 35 events under 6 clusters – Pyramidos for the civil
department, Inpulsa for the electrical and electronics department, Alchemy for
biotechnology and chemical departments, MechanicusIngenium for the mechanical
and mechatronics departments, Antikythera for the school of computing and Los
Negocius for the management and law schools. Competing in these events which
are mind-boggling and intriguing would give the participants enormous exposure
and unforgettable experience.
Another significant
feature of Daksh\'15 is the Interns Fair, where eminent companies like
IBM,Google,Oracle,Ford,Deloitte and many more are promising over 1000
internship oppurtunities to the participants.
There is a series
of workshops every year on upcoming engineering topics where hands-on
experience and immense knowledge is witnessed. This year\'s workshops include
Industrial Automation, Arduino Robotics, Forensics, Reverse Engineering etc.,
providing valuable certificates.
We also have power
talks by eminent and famous personalities sharing their priceless knowledge and
words. This time power talks are given by Mr.SwaminathanGurumurthy,
Mr.MichelDanino, Mrs.VishakaHari and Mr.Dushyanth Sridhar.
We also have shows
and expos which are inviting and worth experiencing. For having fun and an aura
of energy we have technotainment cluster for fun along with technology.
We also provide
hospitality as in accomodation and food in our campus for the external
participants on all the three days of Daksh.
The prize money for
the events of Daksh is promising, this year\'s prize money on a total is of
rupees 1.5 million.
